This rod was the start of the entire Laurie Rapal project in 1936. The Original Floater® is a versatile rod that can be used for fishing or cutting with a wetsuit. It can be used for fast movements, deep or just below the surface of the water. When cutting, the rod is lowered to its natural depth and remains there during the movement. The movements imitate an injured fish. It can be adjusted manually and tested in the aquarium.
